Y’all please tell me I am not the only one who has experienced this …
I have a touch of extra time on my hands…
the creative juices are just starting to bubble (you know, the bubbles on the bottom of the pan just before a full boil is reached),
the kids are amazingly quiet (video games, Netflix or (shock of shocks) they are actually embracing the reading and writing assignment I have given them),
the crock pot is filling the house with mouth watering smells as it cooks dinner,
the washer is repeating it’s rhythmic rinse cycle in the back ground…
and I set off to Pinterest, YouTube, or Instagram for a prompting that turns up the heat on these juices to a full fledged boil!
Then BOOM! Hours later, I have the most beautiful boards filled with projects that will never happen on Pinterest, my IG feed is full of hearts and saved posts of items I could letter (but never will) and the kids are frustrated with me because we can’t both stream YouTube videos and Netflix at the same time…
May I introduce you to Spark Cards?
Spark cards are designed to inspire.
No matter your interests,
whether you’re a cook,
or you’re not sure who you are…
Spark Cards are for you.
Designed in a very simple, straightforward fashion,
each Spark Card contains a photograph,
a color chart pulled from the photograph
and a space for notes,
whatever your mind sees,
your heart feels,
your ears hear when you look at the photograph.
When you feel like you are almost at the boiling point avoid the bazillion rabbit holes that the internet provides…and turn to Spark Cards, Each deck of cards contain 30 Sparks and are available for purchase for $10 a deck plus shipping.
And if you are wanting an idea of what they look like…. check out my little freebie download for National Pizza Day here!
The actual decks are a bit different – two sided and printed on 100lb weight paper, but the concept is the same…
